InCadence Ares™ Mobile Biometrics Solution Approved for FBI Certified Products List

Manassas, VA. – September 4, 2018 – InCadence Strategic Solutions is pleased to announce that its Ares mobile biometrics solution has been approved for the FBI Certified Products List for use by law enforcement personnel in Mobile ID as well as Live Scan for booking.  Ares is certified in use with several fingerprint scanners manufactured by Integrated Biometrics, a leader in mobile fingerprint readers.

Steve Hudson, Program Manager at InCadence and a recently retired Police Chief for Prince William County, VA, stated, “These national certifications for the Ares mobile biometrics solution open the door for all state and local law enforcement agencies to have this ground-breaking technology in their hands to aid the critical work they do every day. Local police officers or detectives can now utilize the same time-saving mobile biometrics tool used by federal agents across the country.”

 

Ares allows state and local law enforcement officers to run real-time Rapid Fingerprint Information Submission (RPIS) searches against county and state-level AFIS repositories as well as the FBI’s Repository for Individuals of Special Concern (RISC), which includes wanted persons, sex offenders, and known or appropriately suspected terrorists. Ares is also certified to conduct mobile booking when used with four-print scanners. Ares can operate over mobile networks, allowing submission of fingerprint transactions and match responses to a phone or tablet anywhere an officer can connect to a cellular data or Wi-Fi network.

Manassas, Virginia—May 8, 2018—InCadence Strategic Solutions Corp. is pleased to welcome to the team Mr. Dave Roper as Vice President of Business Development and Alliant 2SB Program Manager.    Following a decorated thirty-year career in the United States Army, Dave transitioned to the government contracting industry in 2009, providing business development services to the Department of Defense. He was honored to be recognized by 2nd Army/Army Cyber Command with the Order of St. Isidore Gold Medal award, in August 2015.  At InCadence, Dave leads corporate-wide business development strategies and is charged with maximizing opportunities within the recently awarded Alliant 2 Small Business IDIQ contract vehicle. Dave earned an MS Administration degree from Central Michigan University. Prior to joining InCadence he was Director of Army Accounts for General Dynamics.

Manassas, VA – November 7, 2017 – InCadence Strategic Solutions Corp., a leading provider of Biometrics/Identity Management, Data Solutions, Tactical Communications and Operational Intelligence support services, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Information Technology Acquisition Unit (ITAU) for 450 Integrated Biometrics (IB) FIVE-0 fingerprint scanner devices and associated ancillary equipment.

Built for mobile enrollment, verification, and booking, FIVE-0 is ideal for law enforcement, military, border control, and national ID programs. Its rugged, lightweight design provides exceptional reliability. It resists latent fingerprints and operates in demanding conditions, including dirt, cold, heat, bright lights, and sunlight.  The FIVE-0 uses Integrated Biometrics’ patented Light Emitting Sensor (LES) optical technology. LES sensors require far less power than prism-based systems. They are thinner and lighter, making the FIVE-0 the only truly mobile FBI Appendix F Certified FAP 50 10-Print Roll Scanner. Operators can use the FIVE-0 in a wider range of operating conditions, without having to clean the sensor between scans because of the LES sensor.

InCadence Sponsors Diplomatic Security Foundation’s 27th Annual Charity Golf Event

Manassas, VA – June 20, 2017 -InCadence sponsored the Diplomatic Security Foundation’s 2017 Mike Considine Charity Golf Outing, a major DSF fundraiser.  The Diplomatic Security Foundation (DSF) provides financial support for U.S. diplomatic security team members and law enforcement officers killed or injured while protecting U.S. diplomats or facilities. 

The event took place on Monday, June 5th, 2017, at the Golf Club at Lansdowne Resort, Lansdowne, VA.  In addition to sponsoring a foursome, InCadence provided a group of volunteers to assist with logistics and set up for the event.

The Diplomatic Security Foundations (DSF) Golf Event is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.  In 2016 this event brought in $190,000.  DSF uses these funds to provide grants for those in the Department of State families who are suffering from a hardship or crisis.

InCadence is currently supporting the Department of State in Rosslyn and Manassas with a team of 14 employees providing Biometric/Identity Management Software Engineering Solutions.  “It is a privilege to support this event each year, to not only to enjoy the day with our partners and colleagues, but most important to help raise money for the Diplomatic Security Foundation Fund.  We are glad to be a part of this event and to know that this tournament supports such an important cause,” said Anthony Iasso, President, InCadence.

All grants from DSF are gifts and require no repayment.  Anyone from the extended global DS “family” may be considered for a donation, per review by the DSF Board of Directors, which is composed of active, retired and former DS personnel.

InCadence Strategic Solutions Sponsors Highland School Robotics Team

Manassas, Virginia April 21, 2017 – InCadence Strategic Solutions hosted the Highland School Robotics team, Team Robohawk, during the annual InCadence Employee Appreciation Week.  Team Robohawk showcased their newest robot “Lexi” for InCadence employees and demonstrated its capabilities and functionality during an interactive presentation.  The robot has the capability to climb a rope, quickly move forward, backward and laterally, pick up wiffle balls and launch them, and much more.

InCadence regularly supports Highland School Robotics though volunteer time spent with the team, as well as monetary donations given to help support team activites and competions.

Team Robohawk consists of over 40 Highland School students interested in furthering their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; the team is divided into two subgroups: the business team and the build team.

 

 

This year, Team Robohawk won the Creativity Award at the regional competition for it’s innovative approach to the features and build of the robot.   Team Robohawk  also earned recent awards for the vision system and drivetrain solution that is unique to its robots.  Alex Iasso, Team Robohawk member, says that “participating in the robotics program at Highland allows me and countless other students the ability to really delve deep into a space we find interesting, and gain real experience working on engineering projects as a team, in an environment suitable for high school students to learn and grow.”

InCadence Strategic Solutions Sponsors Westfield High School Girls Soccer Program

Chantilly, Virginia April 26, 2017 – InCadence Strategic Solutions Corp. was in attendance at a recent Westfield High School Girls Junior Varsity Soccer game to show its support and commitment to the local high school athletic program.  Prior to the game, InCadence employees met with Westfield coaches and players, took photos and wished them luck in their match vs. Tuscarora High School.  InCadence recently made a corporate donation to the Westfield Girls’ soccer program to help supply new training equipment and scrimmage jerseys for both the junior varsity and varsity squads.

INCADENCE STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS IN LIBERIA TO SUPPORT FIGHT AGAINST EBOLA

InCadence Strategic Solutions in Liberia to Support Fight Against Ebola
Biometric Enrollment and Tracking Solution Used to Maintain Integrity of Vaccine Trials

Monrovia, Liberia, April 3, 2017 – InCadence Vice President of Data Solutions, David Boyd was in attendance today as the Partnership for Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (PREVAIL) launched the expansion of the Ebola vaccine study during a packed event at Redemption Hospital, in New Kru Town, Monrovia, Liberia. The study will assess three different test vaccine strategies in an effort to find which show the most promise to prevent or quickly control future Ebola outbreaks.

To help maintain the integrity of the Ebola vaccine studies and assure that the correct participants are tracked through the study protocols, InCadence Strategic Solutions Corp. under contract with Leidos Biomed, has developed the AIRMED biometric enrollment and tracking solution.  AIRMED is a light weight portable biometric enrollment, verification, and participant scheduling solution designed to operate in remote locations with limited communications and network connectivity.  InCadence deployed AIRMED in November 2016 and trained clinical staff at Redemption Hospital in preparation for the current PREVAIL V series of vaccine trials.

“Biometric verification of participant identities is critical to maintaining the integrity of the study and associated data,” said David Boyd, Vice President of Data Solutions at InCadence.

“Because participants are compensated for their time under the study, there are incentives for people to fraudulently present themselves as study participants.  This kind of fraud not only degrades the quality of the data collected under the study but also creates risks for study participants and those fraudulently participating,” further noted Mr. Boyd.”

In addition to its work with AIRMED, InCadence is also supporting PREVAIL with media monitoring and sentiment analysis related to government response, social mobilization, survivor stigma, and other issues associated with the Ebola outbreak and the clinical trials.
