McLean, VA. – February 21, 2017 – InCadence CEO Sandy Corbett participated in a GovCon Symposium this morning to share her insights and expertise in a panel discussion on navigating the post-transition marketplace, shaping government contracting opportunities and best strategies to pursue them under the new administration. The panel discussion, titled “Centers of Gravity,” also featured Kevin Kelly, CEO, LGS Innovations, Brad Schwartz, President & CEO, Blue Canopy Group, LLC and Julian Setian, CEO, SOS International, and was moderated by Dara Castle, Managing Partner, Washington Metro Offices, RSM US LLP. The event took place at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner and was hosted by Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and George Mason University School of Business – Government Contracting Initiative.
On the driving needs of government customers, Ms. Corbett has this to say: “Providing cost-effective, innovative solutions to solve their hardest problem set is our goal. It is important for us to work with our customers to show them what is possible from a technology perspective. Anticipating our customers’ requirements, understanding the mission, operational and end-user needs, paired with great technology are what we strive for.”
This morning’s event also included a keynote presentation featuring an interview with Joe Jordan, CEO of FedBid and former Administrator, Office Federal Procurement Policy and Associate Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, moderated by Dr. John Hillen. Other panel discussions focused on the topic of Government Leaders – how can the new administration and the government contracting industry come together to further innovate and collaborate, and Strategies for Driving Value – how to pivot in the post-transition environment to address new opportunities and improve investment strategies.
