InCadence Strategic Solutions Wins Mobile Biometrics Prime Contract with the FBI

Ares FBI Mobile Biometric ApplicationManassas, VA – March 21, 2016 – InCadence Strategic Solutions is pleased to announce the award of a prime contract to provide a Mobile Biometrics solution to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division, Global Initiatives Unit (FBI CJIS GIU). The single-award, full and open contract, is for a period of performance of one base year and four option years.

InCadence will be responsible for providing software solutions to capture biometrics on Android-based devices that will give the FBI the ability to perform a biometric collection via smart phone. This collection includes fingerprints, facial photographs, and contextual information for submission and receipt of a response, via the Android-based application from any location with cellular service. The application will allow agents to quickly establish the identity of a subject in order to aid in the conduct of an FBI investigation.

InCadence is excited to introduce our Commercial Off-The-Shelf solution, Ares, to the FBI for this work. Ares is a micro-kit biometric collection and submission platform, running on the Android operating system, designed for Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement use. Ares features a plug-in architecture and incorporates the Integrated Biometrics Watson fingerprint reader for fingerprint collection and the built-in-device camera for photographs. Ares is capable of rapidly collecting biometrics, photographs, biographical data, packing and validating transactions, and submitting transactions and receiving match responses from Federal, State and Local Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS).

Donald Acker named InCadence Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Manassas, Virginia—September 24, 2015—InCadence announced Mr. Donald Acker has joined the InCadence team full time as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Donald brings 20+ years, and a wealth of business and financial experience to the InCadence team. He is an active CPA in the State of Maryland, a member of the MACPA and AICPA, and a former Chair for the Government Contractors Committee of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA).

Donald formerly served in senior financial leadership roles at McDonald Bradley, American Express (RSM McGladrey), Subsystem Technologies, Eagle Design and Management. He was the CFO for InfoZen Inc. and most recently as Founder of Turn10, LLC, specializing in providing high end consulting and technology to Government Contractors.

InCadence made significant internal investments to prepare specifically for this opportunity by developing software libraries and an Application Programming Interface (API) to meet NATO requirements.

This work is important as it is laying the crucial initial groundwork for a modern, forward-looking architecture. David is an industry subject matter expert and technical leader with more than 30 years of experience in Big Data Frameworks primarily supporting the Army, DARPA and DHS cloud computing research efforts.

INCADENCE PARTICIPATES IN ‘4 THE WOUNDED 5K’

June 7, 2014 – Charlottesville, VA – The University of Virginia Foundation hosted its 4th annual 5K race in the University of Virginia Research Park on Saturday June 7th. InCadence was a proud sponsor and participant in the race this year for the 3rd time! Race day events included an all-terrain 5k, kid’s fun run, and a post-race expo featuring technologies developed by Charlottesville area companies that support soldier safety in theater. Over 2,000 runners, walkers and spectators participated in the events on June 7th. Family members and many community supporters including the fire department and sponsoring companies were there to set the stage and cheer the racers on.

The University of Virginia covers all administrative costs associated with the race so that 100% of the money collected goes directly to the Wounded Warrior Project. Over the past four years, the 4 the Wounded 5k has raised over $275,000 in support of our wounded warriors. The Wounded Warrior Project provides programs and services to tens of thousands of service men and women who have been injured in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, many suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations and severe burns. INCADENCE RECOGNIZED AS A ‘GREAT PLACE TO WORK’ BY WASHINGTONIAN MAGAZINE

This year’s 50 winning workplaces were chosen on the basis of such measures as: generous pay and benefits, challenging and interesting work, great work/life balance, opportunities to learn and grow, financial stability, commitment to charity and community, and the recognition and respect given to employees.
